We are looking for a Strategic Buyer forfor an international manufacturing company with great communication and negotiation skills, able to work with SAP system and person who is goal oriented.
What awaits you as a Strategic Buyer:
Responsible for the purchasing of indirect materials, direct materials and services
Negotiates and manages relationships with current suppliers to ensure optimal prices, quality and service level
Executes sourcing events, negotiates and contracts new suppliers in line with the strategy of the purchasing category
Identifies and evaluates new potential suppliers to diversify sourcing options and reduce risks
Identifies and implements best business partnerships in close cooperation with the Plant Management
Maintains a save sourcing strategy for all production material
Actively supports saving strategy and annual cost reductions
Develops and negotiates delivery contracts and business partnerships
Actively aligns and cooperates with Supply Chain, Sales, Engineering and Production in daily business
Implementation of plans and strategies for annual cost reduction
Compliance with KPI´s - saving, renewal of contracts
Troubleshooting in case of supply shortages of production material
Maintenance of databases of items, suppliers and prices

Personality requirements and skills:
• Economics or business secondary education
• Bachelor's degree, preferably in Business Administration/Supply Chain
• Master's degree, preferably in Business Administration/Supply Chain
• 3 years’ experience in operative purchasing of indirect, direct materials, services in a production company
• Strategic purchasing experience or strategy
• Technical understanding at negotiation approaches
• Excellent communication skills with negotiating, influencing and convincing abilities
• Open mindset for creative reacting on changes around us
• Analytical thinking and conceptual skills
• Project management knowledge advantage and team player attitude
• SAP
• English language - minimum level B2 must be, Germany language advantage
