Candidate has more than 10 years of relevant experience mainly in groceries. In his last job he acted as Project Manager, mainly for catering (at most) and hygiene products, minorly for furniture. He worked within a team of project managers divided by product portfolio, the catalogue involved around 14 000 items. When he joined the company he took care about category and product management. He was in charge of selecting the assortment – what to sell, how and for what price. He attended many meetings and trainings with salespersons. He also prepared the catalogue, once a year it was printed. He negotiated with suppliers, did the pricing. He did current product portfolio analysis and divided the products to 3 categories – the cheapest group, middle way and premium products. He was in charge of Slovakia, Czech Republic, Austria and Hungary. He dealt with some problems – f.e. they had local supplier for one product for Slovakia and Czech Republic and in Austria they wanted different one because of different taste and ingredients used. Success: he obtained 1 new supplier that made the turnover 150 000 Euro for 6 months. Before it, he worked for 8 years in one company as a Project and Purchasing Manager. The main focus was for gastronomy and retail shop (50:50), later they opened first shop with space for degustation and events. The prices were divided to 2 categories – for B2B and B2C. They had also e-shop, he did the support for it. He also took care about new cars, found new cheaper solution for transport in Slovakia and also did the support regarding portfolio to the purchasing department. He helped marketing department as well. The candidate speaks English fluently od level B2, very good English.
