• responsible for finance of the company, leading 1 bookkeeper
• cash – flow, taxes (VAT, CIT), bookkeeping, payments, controlling
• communication with finance director in the UK, auditors, banks, lawyers, creditors and debitors

• P & L planning and forecasting
• daily english phone communication with client and IBM Project Executive in London
• purchase order vendor cost coordination
• vendor and customer claim (hours) cost coordination
• using of several different information tools (Excel, QMF, Cognos, OANDA, Hyperion etc...)
• monthly and quarter closing support
• communication with accounting team

Business Controller

• financial planning
• support in the preparation of a medium-term financial plan (3 - 5 years) in cooperation with project managers and company management, year budget preparation, monthly financial forecasts
• reporting and fin. analysis
• analysis of trends and anticipated development possibilities of the company
• liquidity report
• fin. management of the company
• ad-hoc cost and other analysis on cost centers budget/actual
• preparations of controlling outputs for internal and external use
• cash-flow management
• payments
• other relevant topics (communication with customers and vendors, mother company in Germany, participation in the creation of new financial and controlling processes etc...)

Country Finance Manager for North America

• guarantee compliance with US GAAP rules
• manage, motivate and develop team members
• ensure the timely reporting of key financial information, monitor the performance and quality of activities based on agreed KPI´s FP&A
• support and coordination of the structure and timing of forecasts and profit plans for all plants in SSNA
• support improvements and developments of financial reporting and analysis
• continuous improvement
• US GAAP reporting
• formulate and administer approved accounting practices in field

Finance Controller

• inventory stock taking monitoring and booking
• non Current Asset management - evidence, booking, inventory

• product price calculations, product costs analysing, master data maintenance in SAP
• inventory level analysing, variances and other ad-hoc analysis (cost centers etc…)
• reporting to the local and global management using Excel, SAP R/3 and Business Warehouse
• period end closing in cost accounting - Balanced scorecard, yearly, monthly, weekly reports
